Hello from Canada!
This is the second part of our exchange. Jacob had already spent 9 fantastic weeks with Hendrik in Bad Oldesloe, in the far north of Germany.
Jacob and his family gave Hendrik a warm welcome at Toronto Airport and took the opportunity to show him the sights around Toronto (including activities like Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament, Wonderland, The CN Tower, Ripleys Aquarium, Cineplex Movie Theatre, The Eaton Centre and various Canadian restaurants). So the first week flew by in a flash.
Finally in Desbarats, Ontario where the family lives (a seven hour drive from Toronto to the north), Hendrik quickly settled into his new home.
“First week of school has gone well and Hendrik seems to be enjoying himself and making friends. Today they came to work at the store with me and are now heading out on the bikes to explore!”
